Francesco Spagnuolo Audit Senior Manager

Francesco graduated in Economics and Profession (with honors) from the University of Bologna. He is licensed to practice as a Chartered Accountant and is enrolled in the register of auditors as a trainee. 

Francesco teaches Economics and Business Organization at the University of Bologna (Faculty of Engineering) since 2024. In addition, he is the contact person for the Mazars office in Bologna.

Francesco has more than 10 years of experience in auditing gained in leading auditing firms. He also deals with M&A and restructuring services for national and international groups. From 2021 he joined the Mazars team as Senior Manager.

 Expertise:

Francesco works mainly with industrial, commercial and service companies (specializing in the renewable energy sector). His experience includes the operational management of auditing assignments relating to national and international companies and groups, including at listed companies, which has allowed him to develop knowledge and skills in the field of application of national and international accounting and auditing standards.

He has acquired specific skills in the field of OIC and IFRS applied to consolidated financial statements and participated in transition processes to the IFRS international accounting standards.

He also carried out IPO and accounting-fin Due Diligence projects. He has collaborated in projects involving mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring and liquidations.
